TUITION ASSISTANCE

Kindergarten – 8th Grade Tuition Assistance

Trinity Lutheran School recognizes that choosing a parochial school is a major financial decision for any family and that tuition assistance is sometimes necessary. Applying for Tuition Assistance is a two step process.

STEP 1: Apply to Illinois Invest in Kids Scholarship Program

The Illinois Invest in Kids Scholarship Program provides scholarships for students whose families meet the income requirements to attend qualified, non-public schools in Illinois. For more information about the process, please click on the link below. At the site, you will be able to see if you qualify, the steps to apply, and much more. Please check it out before you apply.  https://empowerillinois.org

Please note: You will need to apply for the Illinois Invest in Kids Program before you apply for assistance with FACTS.

STEP 2: Apply to FACTS Financial Assistance

After you have applied for the Illinois Invest in Kids Program, you can apply for assistance with FACTS. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent, third party company that conducts financial analysis to determine your family’s financial need. Trinity Lutheran School will receive a confidential and private report outlining your financial situation based on the information you provide. This report is then reviewed by the Trinity Financial Assistance Committee for final determination of assistance. All information remains completely confidential and private throughout this process.

FACTS applications can be submitted from February 13, 2023 through May 1, 2023. A $40 application fee is required. Please click here to access the online application.

Applying for either of these programs does not guarantee assistance. If you have additional questions about tuition assistance, please call the school office at (217) 787-2323.

Celebrating Variety in Learning Styles

At Trinity Lutheran School, we value the uniqueness of each of our students and understand the importance of variety in teaching methods and approach. Our education inclusion strategy celebrates differences in learning styles and promotes a stronger sense of community in the classroom.

Igniting a Life-Long Love Learning

We acknowledge that students are motivated learners when the subject coincides with their natural interests. By supplementing standard curriculum with creative and innovative topics - through our music, outdoor ed, and elective programs - we seek to ignite a life-long love of learning in our students.

Clearing the Obstacles of Learning

We are dedicated to addressing the emotional and spiritual health of our students, through a variety of methods, including implementation of Christian conflict resolution curriculum, faculty training guided by licensed counselors, visits from Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry, and most importantly, regular classroom prayer time focusing on God's promises for our lives.
