Greetings in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ! During these times of uncertainty, Paul’s words to the Romans about Christian love is so important. God tells us how to make it through this by focusing on Christ’s love for one another. Romans 12:9-13 gives us insight on how to approach these times, especially in verse 12.
“9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 11 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”
This week, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker announced that remote learning in Illinois will now be extended through April 30th in order to slow down the spread of COVID-19. During this time, on-site learning will remain suspended, but our school’s commitment to learning and education will remain open as learning will continue for all of our students – just through a different format.
While it is not ideal, I want to assure you that at Trinity, our teachers, and staff are fully engaged and willing to take on this new challenge and push forward with remote learning, teaching, and engaging with students. I know this is not the school year that any of us imagined, but I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we have dealt with this unprecedented situation together.
You should have received an email from Mrs. Sausaman about a Missing You Parade and how to pick up materials that your children may still need. Please click here for more details about that event. Also, take a minute to fill out a quick survey so we can better see how to serve our families. (Survey Link)
We continue to pray for you, our Trinity family, daily.
Faithfully in Christ,
Mr. Zack Klug
