ELEMENTS OF SUCCESS
Trinity Lutheran School offers a unique program designed to foster and develop specific skills thatstudents need to become successful adults.
The Elements of Success program is woven into the Trinity curriculum and incorporated at all grade levels, from preschool through 8th grade. These skills, combined with academic excellence, equip our students to excel in all areas of their lives.
This program began with a simple question. How do you define success?
We asked dozens of parents to describe what they hope their children will achieve as successful adults. Parents described four goals for their children:
- Be strong in their faith walk.
- Be financially independent.
- Be part of a happy family structure.
- Be contributing members of their community.
These answers, combined with research into the best practices of innovative and successful schools, led to the development of the Elements of Success.
In 2018, Trinity’s Elements of Success program was nominated as a Powerful Practice by the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) validation team.
