Trinity’s Early Childhood Program provides a Christ-centered learning environment in which children ages 2 through 5 hear the Good News of Jesus and grow spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically. We provide a nurturing atmosphere where children learn through play and other activities.

Our Early Childhood program includes:

  • Part-Time Two-Year-Old Program (Monday-Friday mornings)
  • Part-Time and Full-Time Preschool (3-4 years)
  • Part-Time and Full-Time Pre-Kindergarten (4-5 years)
Trinity’s Early Childhood program values the emotional well-being of our students and shares God’s love through daily “Jesus Time” and weekly Chapel services. Trinity’s Early Childhood students experience a variety of activities that set them on a path for future academic success.
  • Thematic units that cover language development, reading readiness, phonemic awareness, and various math skills (counting, sorting, etc.)
  • Spanish curriculum taught to all early childhood students
  • Activities that assist with fine motor and gross motor skill development
  • Playtime on our outdoor Early Childhood playground and indoor gym available to students each day for physical activity
  • Peer interaction and social skill development
  • Morning and afternoon snack time
  • Afternoon rest time
  • 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio in Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten
  • 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio in Two-Year-Old Town

Celebrating Variety in Learning Styles

At Trinity Lutheran School, we value the uniqueness of each of our students and understand the importance of variety in teaching methods and approach. Our education inclusion strategy celebrates differences in learning styles and promotes a stronger sense of community in the classroom.

Igniting a Life-Long Love Learning

We acknowledge that students are motivated learners when the subject coincides with their natural interests. By supplementing standard curriculum with creative and innovative topics - through our music, outdoor ed, and elective programs - we seek to ignite a life-long love of learning in our students.

Clearing the Obstacles of Learning

We are dedicated to addressing the emotional and spiritual health of our students, through a variety of methods, including implementation of Christian conflict resolution curriculum, faculty training guided by licensed counselors, visits from Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry, and most importantly, regular classroom prayer time focusing on God's promises for our lives.
